It never hurts to further your education, and this is a great way to gain some
extra knowledge and credentials while doing dives you would like to do anyway!
Once you complete the Advanced Open Water Course, you'll be more experienced,
feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better
understand the underwater environment. The course consists of 5 dives. Like the
PADI Open Water course, there are knowledge reviews, but NO quizzes or final
exam.
With your PADI Instructor you complete the deep and underwater navigation Adventure
Dives. These dives boost your confidence as you build these foundational skills.
For your last three dives, you may choose from the following Adventure Dives:

The Advanced Open Water Diver
course brings you one step closer to Master Scuba Diver – the
ultimate non professional certification in recreational
diving. Completion of the course also qualifies you
for further training as a Rescue Diver.

Prerequisites:
PADI Open Water Diver certification
(or qualifying certification from another
organization).
