Rescue
Diver Course
US$350
The Rescue course is an important step in expanding the Advanced Open Waters
divers knowledge and experience. Rescue divers learn to look beyond themselves
and onto considering the safety and well being of other divers. Although challenging,
completion of the course is a rewarding way to build your confidence in and around
any water.
This performance based program will involve knowledge reviews, confined water
sessions and open water sessions. During the five open water sessions, you’ll
cover self-rescue skills, knowledge of diver stresses, diver first aid, emergency
management skills, panicked diver responses, underwater problems, missing diver
procedures, surfacing the unconscious diver, in-water rescue breathing protocols,
how to exit both responsive and unresponsive divers, amongst others.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student is certified as a Rescue
Diver and qualifies for all Professional level PADI courses, beginning with the
